Trade Resources continues to expand and strengthen the resources of the Yangtze
Tantalum and niobium. Two surveys of mysterious metal to be sure, but this is not a mystery is the global shortage of supply in these two metals. With delay of several stage exploration projects on the horizon for either metal, and increased demand due to technological applications, such as cell phones and specialty steels, Commerce Resources (TSXV: CEC) continues to boost the viability of the proposed Blue River, British Columbia. Chris Grove, Corporate Communications Director for Business Resources, explains what is attractive about the prospects of the company.
Intelligence resources: Let your property Blue River in central British Columbia. What we want is niobium and tantalum. First, why are these metals is not only important for its shareholders, but for the world in general?
Chris Grove: The Economics of Resources Trade "is largely influenced by tantalum values in the project. Tantalum is essential to continue the manufacture and design of almost all electronic devices. RI: You have a number of Blue River carbonatite, which is essential to its success. Can you explain why?
CG: A carbonatite is a volcanic deposit and there are only about 500 known carbonatite on the planet. A very high percentage of these mineralized carbonatites and many have gone on mine production. Most rare earth deposits in the world are carbonatites. All the best of worlds niobium carbonatite deposits are, therefore, in this regard, we would be comparable a world-class deposits of niobium, tantalum well with this additional quality. IR: Meanwhile, you have really tried three ore bodies in the project with estimated resources and called fir, spruce and Verity high, and are close to each other.
CG: They are, however, the project is about the truth 10 km north of the FIR and the High Fir projects. CG: The Upper Fir have higher grades of both tantalum and niobium and is open pittable. The infrastructure is excellent, with logging roads and place. We have a program sampling in 2007 and followed with additional exploration in 2008 and a program of 26 drill holes which were a lot of tantalum, niobium, uranium, results phosphate and fluorite.
